New yarns for 2017 - Bluefaced Leicester fingering weight !

We have some great new undyed natural yarns planned for 2017. We are proud to offer our new 100% Bluefaced Leicester wool fingering/4ply yarn, also offered with 20% optional nylon content. We have gone to great efforts to produce this rare British breed yarn. The wool itself has been double sorted, with only the very best fleeces used.  It has amazing softness combined with a light lustre and good strength.  Sold in 100g skeins with 400mtrs.

New 4-ply yarns!

We are thrilled to announce the release of our new super fine Merino and superfine Merino / Silk 4-ply yarn.  It will be available on our website next week. Spun at John Arbon Textiles worsted mill in Devon, these yarns are luxuriously beautiful. Here are some images of it being finished off at the mill... Spinning up a storm.

We are currently working on our latest new undyed white yarn. We are working with John Arbon and his team at his North Devon spinning mill to create some super lovely yarn. The yarn is going to be a beautiful light 4-ply. The fibre is 19.5 micron Organically farmed Merino from the Falkland Islands. Its incredible micron count means it is ultra fine (for Falkland Islands wool) and makes is very special. are photos of the mill in action spinning it up!
